A Mankato resident, Amanda's faith journey began with her family and deepened during her time at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she earned a degree in Elementary Education. While at college, she led Bible studies at the Newman Center, merging her love for teaching and faith. Amanda served as a Catholic missionary with FOCUS for four years, where she honed her skills in evangelization and leadership. In 2021, she returned to education as a High School Theology teacher at Loyola Catholic School, and completed her Master’s in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment with a focus on Catholic Education at the University of Mary. With a deep passion for education and a commitment to nurturing students and teachers, Amanda believes that every child is a beloved child of God, deserving a holistic education, forming the child in mind, body, and spirit.
