Marathon Sunday
October 4th, 2026
Every October, since 1974, the Knights of Columbus have sponsored the Marathon for Non-Public Education. For John Ireland, our “Marathon" includes students and families biking or walking as a group and performing acts of service around the community while raising funds to support our school.
December 5th, 2026
Breakfast with Santa is an annual tradition bringing families and community together for a pancake breakfast, a visit with photos with Santa. With additional festive activities changing from year to year, the event offers a joyful way to celebrate the Christmas season, strengthen community, and support our youngest learners.
Catholic Schools Week Mass
January 31st, 2027
The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) created this event in 1974 created Catholic Schools Week to highlight the value of Catholic education in the United States. At John Ireland, it is a joyful celebration of faith, learning, and community; which kicks off with a parish and school Mass. Special events for students, families, alumni, and friends, including Bingo with Alumni and our annual Talent Show follow all week long.
March 13th, 2027
Luck of the Irish is John Ireland's largest yearly fundraiser. This event has evolved into an evening event with a catered dinner, live auction, raffle, and entertainment. All funds raised directly support John Ireland Catholic School.
