Physical Education/Health Teacher 

We are in search of a Physical Education and Health Teacher to join our team of passionate Catholic educators. The successful candidate will be a dynamic teacher with a desire to nurture the hearts, souls, minds and bodies of students.  They will have strong communication skills and have the ability to build relationships with students, parents and staff.  They will be able to deliver and plan engaging lessons that are developmentally appropriate for a variety of ages and abilities.

Qualifications

    • Have a minimum of BA/BS degree in Physical Education.
    • Hold current State of Minnesota Teaching License (preferred).
    • Experience in managing groups of elementary aged students.
    • Maintains good communication skills;
    • Has proficiency in technology skills as the position demands;
    • Successfully complete standard Diocesan-required employee background check, BCA check, credit check, and motor vehicle check. 
    • Successfully complete VIRTUS training and maintain all Safe Environment Requirements of the Diocese of New Ulm and The Church of St. Peter.

 

1st Grade Teacher

We are in search of a faith-filled Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our team of passionate Catholic educators. Qualifications

    • Have a minimum of BA/BS degree in Elementary Education.
    • Hold current State of Minnesota Teaching License.
    • Elementary teaching experience.
    • Maintains good communication skills;
    • Has proficiency in technology skills as the position demands;
    • Successfully complete standard Diocesan-required employee background check, BCA check, credit check, and motor vehicle check.

School Age Care (SAC) Supervisor

We are in search of a part-time School Age Care (SAC) Supervisor to join our team of passionate Catholic educators. The successful candidate will help create a productive, positive, and harmonious work environment for our students in after school care. They will perform a variety of childcare & organizational functions required for the operation, safety, and thriving of the SAC program. The afterschool care program runs Monday through Friday from 3-6pm. 

Qualifications

    • Fulfill all Safe Environment Requirements of the Diocese of New Ulm and The Church of St. Peter
    • Pass background check
    • Appropriate educational experiences
    • Must demonstrate evidence of strong office management techniques
    • Must demonstrate evidence of child care management techniques
    • Prepare & provide creative & engaging age appropriate activities
    • Must have, or be willing to develop, proficiency in technology skills as the position demands, including but not limited to, the Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel
    • Possess good people, communication and relational skills

Assistant Cook 

We are in search of a part-time Assistant Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will help assist the Kitchen Manager in the preparation, serving, and cleaning of lunch for the students, staff, faculty and other adults. They will ensure that all food preparation and service is performed in a professional and timely manner, as assigned by the Head Cook.

Qualifications

• High school degree
• Fulfill the Safe Environment Requirements of the Diocese of New Ulm and the Church of St. Peter
• Pass background check
• Exhibit knowledge of food service program
• Exhibit competence in preparing and providing nutritional foods
• Must demonstrate evidence of good food preparation
• Possess good people and relational skills
