We learned about the importance of names and read the Bible verse from Isiah: "I have called you by name. You are mine!". We then talked about vowels and created mosiacs of our names with gold letters for the vowels. It makes a beaufitul display in our hallway as we get to know each other!

In September first grade led a prayer service about creation. We shared the creation story using posters we painted with watercolors, sang a song about the days of creation, and thanked God for things in creation that he has made. The kids did great!
